Cancellation, No Show & Refund Policy
Withdraw Bid Request
You are allowed to withdraw the Bid Request (BR) while bidding is in progress, which is 9 minutes from the time of Bid Request (Bid Duration). Instabids will not charge you for Withdrawing the Bid Request.
Cancellation
Cancel before Checking-in or Ordering
Instabids allows you to cancel the Coupon for free of charge before Check-in or Order time.
Cancel after Checking-in or Ordering
i. As a general rule, you shall not be entitled to cancel your order after checking-in (Dine-In) or Online ordering (Takeaway/Delivery). If you cancel after that, Instabids shall have a right to charge you a cancellation fee of a minimum INR 50 up to the order value, with a right to either not to refund the order value or recover from your subsequent order, the complete/ deficit cancellation fee, as applicable, to compensate our restaurant and delivery partners. Instabids shall also have the right to charge you a cancellation fee for the orders canceled by Instabids for the reasons specified under clause (iii) of this cancellation and refund policy. In case of cancellations for the reasons attributable to Instabids or its restaurant and delivery partners, Instabids shall not charge you any cancellation fee.
ii. However, in the unlikely event of an item on your order being unavailable, we or restaurant will contact you on the phone number provided to us at the time of placing the order and inform you of such unavailability. In such an event you will be entitled to cancel the entire order and shall be entitled to a refund in accordance with our refund policy.
iii. We reserve the sole right to cancel your order in the following circumstance:
a. in the event of the designated address falls outside the delivery zone offered by us;
b. failure to contact you by phone or email at the time of confirming the order booking;
c. failure to deliver your order due to lack of information, direction, or authorization from you at the time of delivery; or
d. unavailability of all the items ordered by you at the time of booking the order;
No Show
You are expected to Check-In at the restaurant (Dine-In) or place an online order (Takeaway / Delivery) before coupon expires which is within 30 minutes of Coupon generation.
Upon arriving at the Restaurant, it is the your responsibility to notify the restaurant member that you are a Instabids user and have a coupon for Dine-In.
If you are unable to check-in or place an online order before coupon expiry time and you fail to cancel at least 10 minutes in advance of the check-in / order by time, it is considered as a no-show. In such no-show event, Instabids shall have a right to charge you a no-show fee of a minimum INR 100 up to INR 1000, with a right to recover from your subsequent order, the complete/ deficit no-show fee, as applicable, to compensate our restaurants.
User agrees that all final no-show determinations will be made by Instabids in its sole discretion.
Refunds
i. You shall be entitled to a refund only if you pre-pay for your order at the time of placing your order on the Platform and only in the event of any of the following circumstances:
a. if there was any duplicate charges for the same order.
b. us canceling your order due to
(A) your delivery location following outside our designated delivery zones;
(B) failure to contact you by phone or email at the time of confirming the order booking; or
(C) you canceling the order at the time of confirmation due to the unavailability of the items you ordered for at the time of booking.
ii. Our decision on refunds shall be at our sole discretion and shall be final and binding.
iii All refund amounts shall be credited to your account within 5-7 business days in accordance with the terms that may be stipulated by the bank which has issued the credit/debit card.
